LEGAL & STATUTORY COMPLIANCE

Terms of Service, Child Protection & Device Usage Agreement

Last Updated: September 2026 | Effective for all Parents, SLTs, and Provisioned Tablets

1. Zero-Tolerance Child Protection & Mandatory Reporting Policy

TapTile AAC is dedicated to the safety, communication, and welfare of non-verbal and vulnerable children. We enforce an unconditional zero-tolerance policy against any form of child abuse, exploitation, or illegal content.

2. Tablet Hardware Provisioning & Single-App Kiosk Lockdown

By accepting a provisioned speech tablet (such as the TECLAST M50T), the parent/guardian authorizes TapTile AAC to configure the device in a dedicated Single-App Kiosk Mode. This disables system navigation, status bars, and app stores to ensure the pupil remains focused on speech and assistive communication without distractions.

3. Remote Clinical Assistance & Voice Loudspeaker Authorization

Parents and Speech & Language Therapists (SLTs) authorize authorized SuperAdmins to initiate remote technical assistance sessions, inject touch pointers to guide pupil symbol selection, and broadcast vocal assistance through the tablet's stereo speakers over WebRTC encrypted channels.

4. Post-Quantum Cryptographic Security (NIST FIPS 203)

All session logs, pupil communication tokens, and remote control telemetry are secured using NIST FIPS 203 (ML-KEM-768) and NIST FIPS 204 (ML-DSA-768) post-quantum encryption to guarantee lifelong clinical data protection against quantum decryption.
